Since Yahoo and AOL have joined to become Oath, this Privacy Policy now points to the Privacy Center.
A new notice has been added indicating that Yahoo is now part of Oath, a digital and mobile media company with more than 50 brands globally, and a member of the Verizon family of companies.

	Yahoo is now part of	In June 2017, we announced that Yahoo and AOL had joined to become Oath, a digital and mobile media company with more than 50 brands globally, and a memberpart of Verizon. We’re now bringing Oath and Yahoo under a single privacy policy. Some things haven’t changed, like the Verizon family of companies. The waycontrol tools we handleprovide to help you manage your information hasn't changed, so Yahoo's Privacy Policy still governs whenexperience with us. If you are on a Yahoo site, using ahave an existing Yahoo app or interacting with our products, services or technologies. We may share non-personal information with our family companies for purposes such as product improvements, research and analysis, and to help them provideAOL account, you with more relevant experience. 	Yahoo automatically receives and records  	 DEVICE INFORMATION. This information includes device specific identifiers and information such as IP address, Yahoo cookie information, softwaremobile device and hardware attributes,advertising identifiers, browser version, operating system type and version, mobile network information, device settings, and software data. We may recognize your devices to provide you with personalized experiences and advertising across the pagedevices you request.use.

	Yahoo uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
