MULTIPLE SHOPS POLICY Although you may have more than one shop on Etsy, you may not have duplicate shops on Etsy. Duplicate shops list the same or similar types of items in more than one shop, often using the same or similar photographs, descriptions, pricing, and branding (including shop banner, avatar, about page, and shop policies). Duplicate shops create confusion for our buyers and do not promote transparency about your business and the items you make. In addition, duplicate shops distort search results, which can create an unfair advantage over other sellers and an unfavorable experience for buyers. For these reasons, you may not have duplicate shops on Etsy. In addition, you may not open a new shop if your previous shop or shops have been closed because they were in violation of our Site Policies. We understand that there are many reasons why you may wish to create more than one brand, market to different audiences, or fulfill different buyer needs. For example, rather than combining vintage items with your hand-made jewelry, it may make more sense for you to have two separate shops with different marketing strategies. Or, you may have two clothing shops -- one for adults and one for children. For these reasons, it is perfectly within the limits of our policies to have more than one shop, as long as they are not duplicate shops. In addition, remember to publish the names of all of your shops in your Public Profile and follow our Seller Guidelines on how to maintain a transparent shop for each account you have on Etsy.
